- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger or ¼ tsp ground ginger
- Juice of ½ lemon

- ½ tsp matcha powder or 1 green tea bag
- 12–16 oz filtered water
Instructions
- If using green tea, steep it in hot water for 3–5 minutes, then let it cool. If using matcha, whisk it into warm water directly.
- Add chia seeds to the cooled tea and let sit for 5–10 minutes so they swell and form a gel.
- Stir in the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, and cayenne.
- Shake or stir well, then refrigerate or serve over ice.
Notes
Drink first thing in the morning or 30 minutes before meals. Start with once per day, increasing to twice if tolerated well. Pair with a high-fiber, protein-rich diet for best results.
